CrossWalk accountability partners
Viewing life through the cross means developing intimate friendships with other followers who can help keep us accountable, balanced, and encouraged. Our vision at Denison Nazarene is to live this out through CrossWalk accountability partners.
Accountability partners are not couches or counselors. They’re simply one or two followers of your same gender who you agree to talk with every week. During your conversation, you will three things:
- Read the CrossWords scripture focus.
- Ask each other these three questions -
What’s working? What can we celebrate that’s going good in your journey?
What’s not working? What obstacles are you facing in your journey?
What’s the next step? What can you do this week to continue in the journey?
- Pray together.
The best way to become an accountability partner is to ask someone! If you need some help with this, we’ll be having special CrossWalk Sundays throughout the year and at CrossRoads Retreat.
The next CrossWalk Sunday is February 21st.
